A
practical branch of Yoga, Hatha-Yoga is a technique
utilizing physical postures (asânas), breath (prânayama)
and relaxation in order to harmonize body, mind, and
spirit. Based on ancient oriental knowledge, the
Hatha-Yoga taught here at the Clinique Colibri is
accessible to all, no matter the age, beliefs, or
fitness level. Amongst the numerous benefits, we note
the suppleness of the body; better physical form in
general, increased corporal awareness, prevention and
elimination of stress, increased immunity, and global
well-being.
Adapted to people of all levels this class proposes
variants of each posture in regards to different degrees
of strength and suppleness. During the 10 weeks of a
session, a gradual progression is proposed with respect
to the individual’s own rhythm.
